NASHVILLE GREEN HOMES GETTING NOTICED
Nice article in the Tennessean today about the growth of green construction in Nashville. Again, we are seeing some of the bigger builders such as the Jones Company marketing Energy Star homes and smaller builders such as Woodland Street Partners, Mossy Ridge Construction, and JBS Custom Builders doing everything from Energy Star all the way up to LEED certification. It is great to see the slow but steady growth of green and energy efficient construction in Nashville. Builders are definitely responding to consumer demand. Interesting article; we have some of the same "sticker shock" in NYC. But, with growing interest, it green may be able to reach all people-for instance, see this YouTube video "Rich Green, Poor Green" http://bit.ly/1dBtV
